About

A more mindful sauna ritual.

Wool sauna hats arranged on a sauna bench

My wellness journey changed completely after becoming a breast cancer survivor. Although I had always enjoyed swimming and staying active, my diagnosis made me look much more closely at how I cared for my body — from exercise and nutrition to the products I used every day.

Today, I prioritize movement, wellness, and recovery through workout classes, walking, healthy eating, and taking a 15-minute sauna a minimum of four times a week. Sauna became an important part of my routine and overall wellbeing.

The inspiration for my sauna hats came from a gift a friend brought me from Turkey. While I appreciated the thoughtfulness behind it, I became concerned after learning the hat contained dyes, synthetic fibres, and chemicals that I didn’t feel comfortable wearing in high heat. That experience led me to begin researching safer, more natural alternatives.

What I discovered surprised me. Many sauna hats on the market are made with polyester blends, synthetic materials, and chemical dyes — products people are wearing directly on their heads in extremely high temperatures.

I wanted to create something different.

My hats are made using natural wool felt sourced from Canada and are proudly made in Canada. My goal was to design a cleaner, more natural sauna hat without unnecessary chemicals or synthetic materials — something I personally felt good about wearing and sharing with others.

For me, this business is about more than a product. It’s about wellness, education, and helping people become more mindful about what they put on and around their bodies.

I’m also a mother of two grown children, a proud Nana, and someone who loves to travel and continue learning about wellness practices from around the world. Creating these sauna hats has been a meaningful extension of the healthier lifestyle I now choose to live every day.
